Los Angeles Lakers rookie Lonzo Ball caused some controversy recently when he said Future and Migos were real hip-hop and also claimed that no one listens to Nas anymore.
The comments sent the hip-hop world into a frenzy but it doesn’t appear that it affected Nas. Over the weekend, Nas’ manager, Anthony Saleh, took to Twitter to reveal that Nas has never heard Ball.
“Nas has never heard you & Future thanks you for your support,” he tweeted.
Saleh also took it a step further, insulting Ball.
“That Oatmeal face n—- thinks he can gain f my guys name before winning a game. I don’t care what team you palyer for. Family first.
Lonzo’s comments also led to a threat from Lil B, who said he would put his Based God curse on Ball.
“Lonzo ball is a few seconds away from being cursed his rookie year on the lakers, nas is hip hop and always relevant, watch ur team – Lil B.”
T.I. also came to the defense Nas, saying Ball was “reaching” with his comments.
“#LonzoBall My Boi u reaching like a muuuuf—-!!! Lakers might f— around & piss test you behind this one cuzz. @nas Whattup wit Bruh? #LegendsNeverDie,” he wrote on Instagram.
