Rihanna‘s Fenty Beauty collection launched online in over 150 countries at midnight EST Friday (Sept. 8) morning. The line is ficially debuting at Sephora stores later in the day.
With more than 30 shades, Fenty Beauty’s global launch was Thursday in New York City, and RiRi and Fenty Beauty tweeted sneak peeks early.
“The new generation beauty @fentybauty,” Rihanna’s tweet read.
At the global launch event, Rihanna debuted her beauty line 40 foundation shades. She made it clear why she sought a diverse range shades.
“I wanted a color that looked good on all skin tones,” Rihanna explained to the press on-hand. “It’s really important for me in every product. There are so many different shades and undertones.”
“You just never know, so you want people to appreciate the product and not feel like ‘It only looks cute on her.’ ”
